The New Moon in Cardinal Fire, conjoined Algenib and octile Uranus on the 29th March 2025
Waking before the dawn, Áine rises excitedly out from aisling, an inspired dream. Filled with purpose, she leaps into this world towards the beckoning blank canvas. With no hesitation in her movement, no flicker of doubt, lines emerge as if they had always been there, waiting for her hand to bring them into sight.
Each stroke follows the one before, a sequence neither planned nor accidental. Áine does not step back to assess or measure her progress. She does not pause to consider if the composition is taking the correct shape. It is neither right nor wrong, only as it should be. Free from that insane inner chatter and that over analytical voice, questioning why on earth she’d be creating before the world stirs, the message within aisling was so clear.
With complete immersion the soul within the canvas could now be heard. All she needs is to do what must be done. Without thought of an audience and with no concern for approval or recognition, she crafted, allowing her entire being to be taken by this museful impulse.
The canvas before her is something alive, hungry to emerge. She watches as colour begins to find its place, seeping into the surface, claiming its own weight. The deep, rich ochres she lays down first seem almost too bold, but she does not second-guess their presence. They are where they are meant to be. A cool grey is introduced to temper them, and suddenly, contrast emerges, neither element forcing itself forward but settling into a quiet accord.
As she moves, her fingers trail through wet pigment, blending edges with a softness that no brush can replicate. There is no set plan, no premeditated direction, only the absolute certainty of where each colour, each mark, belongs. The canvas is guiding her as much as she is shaping it, and she follows without hesitation.
Each mark holds within it the certainty of the present, the absolute clarity of action taken without hesitation. The colours find their place as if they have known it all along. Áine does not seek to capture anything; she is not reaching for something beyond her grasp. She is simply there, fully within the act, moving forward as one movement ends and another begins.
As the first light of morning filtered through the window, it catches the ridges of paint, the chalky smudge where fingers have softened the edges. Áine momentarily glances up at the red clothes worn by the Light-bearer and smiles. But lost to the metonymic swing of the pendulum, she does not mark the passing of time. There is no rush, no sense of a task to be finished. It will be done when it is done. All other plans cede to this moment. All else fades to grey as the ethereal luminosity begins to take place before her.
When she sleeps, the vision is still in her. It is not a burden or onerous task. It is an act of joy, of oneness, and as natural as her breath, inhaling and exhaling whether she is conscious of it or not. When she wakes, she will not decide to begin again. The vision is already in motion, as natural as the morning light returning to the studio walls. All she is doing is stepping into it, unthinking, without question, and once again, the work moves through her as it will.
Later, others will ask where the idea began, what inspired her, what meaning lies deeply etched within the composition. Yet Áine will not answer in the way they expect. Neither speaking of influences, nor explaining the process, what is streamed through her is not about thought, nor the gathering of ideas. Not built from decisions, Canvas arrived in a vision and made possible by an unquestioning act of openness, surrender, trust and oneness.
Art – Quantum legacy by Mia
But time is such a funny being – creation freely moving through her as though carried by a current, her hand does not hesitate, the colours meet without effort, the image takes its place as if it has long been waiting for its time to appear. And then there are days when the shape remains unseen, when nothing settles, when each mark feels apart from the rest. Áine does not fight these days. She does not push against them or question their presence. She crafts anyway. A brush is lifted, the curve of a form adjusted, the light and shadow balanced without conscious thought. She has learnt not stand outside the process, not to impose upon it. She is inside it, moving with it.
When the painting is complete, she does not linger before it. She does not step away with satisfaction, nor with regret. It is finished, and so she leave it be, already passing through and onto the next moment, preparing a new canvas for birth.
Those not in the moment will speak of technique, of innovation, of meaning. Áine will not. The work does not require explanation. It exists as it is, shaped by the hand that did not hesitate, brought into being through the certainty of action.
Tomorrow, Áine will rise again, maybe before the first light. Maybe not! A canvas will be blank. Her brushes waiting. There will be no plan, no expectation, only the act itself. And that will be enough.
Oneness with Vision

Leah Marie Dorion – Vision Quest
Art by Leah Marie Dorion
Áine neither questions nor hesitates. She moves with a certainty that does not come from thought, nor from effort, but from something far deeper, a force that does not ask for understanding, only presence.
What is this impulse that pulls her from sleep before the world stirs?
What is this quiet knowing that guides her hand without doubt?
Perhaps it is the absence of resistance that allows the work to emerge as it must. There is no fear of failure, no concern for outcome, only the act itself. And in that act, something rare takes place, creation that is unfiltered, unburdened, untouched by the weight of expectation. The work is not for an audience. It is not for recognition. It is not even for Áine. It simply must be.
Is this what it means to be in harmony with vision – to move without questioning why, without stepping outside of the moment to measure or assess? The colours find their place, the lines unfold, and Áine does not interfere. She does not impose meaning where none is needed. She does not wrestle with uncertainty. There is no uncertainty.
Yet not every day carries this ease. There are times when the canvas resists, when the marks do not settle, when nothing takes shape as it should. But even then, she does not retreat. She does not demand clarity. She works anyway. Why? Because the act itself is the clarity. The moment of doing is the only certainty there ever is.
Later, others will ask what it all means. They will search for explanations, for intention, for the hidden workings behind the piece. But there is nothing to explain. The work did not come from thought. It was not built from gathered ideas. It arrived through action, through the willingness to be present, to surrender to what is already moving.
And when it is finished? She does not dwell on it. There is no lingering in satisfaction, no regret, no attachment. It is done, and she steps forward. The next canvas will be blank. The brushes will wait. The act will begin again, as it always does.
What is this state, this way of being that does not waver? Is it discipline? No. It is something more effortless, more natural. It is the acceptance that there is nothing to force, nothing to chase, nothing to capture. The work is not something to be sought. It is something to step into, something that flows whether she wills it or not.
Cardinal Fire
It is merely an expression of Cardinal Fire, known as Aries, one of the twelve states of consciousness that exists within you, that place being reignited in the forthcoming Solar Eclipse/ New Moon on the 29th of March 2025, when it conjoins the gamma star in Pegasus, Algenib, a constellation which is a nexus of celestial creativity.
Art by Vladimir Kush
Cardinality is simply a way in which ‘energy’ is directed through you. It is generated from ‘above’ and moves quickly through you, taking on aspects of your psyche, your experience, your perception, your constellations as it stimulates a dynamical, non-thinking response to call you into action. It is an impulsive state that merely responds.
Fire is a word to account for Light or Vision. It is an ethereal concept, as close to gOd as we can describe. It reveals itself through visions that arise, not from emotions or your past experiences. But from a clear moment of sight that flashes through you, opening your entire being to an infinite state of excitation and knowingness. It has no words. It has not thought. It has no body. It simply is a state of knowing.
When you combine these two states together, astrologers call is Aries, and simply stated it is that creative impulse wherein awe and wonder combine to create a state of oneness of purpose, through which true ‘art’ is conceived, expressed and given form. That art is not necessarily Áine’s painting. It can be a way of resolving conflict; a vision for your business; a glimpse into another soul and your connection to them. It is pure and adulterated oneness of spirit.
But it has no concerns of ego or attachment to outcome. It merely is pure expression of spirit. An innocence and a state of wonder and grace. The closest we get to this state is being in the presence of a new born babe, or in observing how a pre-seven year old engages the world – existing in a state of Now, complete Presence and utter absorption in what they are doing and creating, without any concern of making it, having to do it, or having to become something with it.
Accessing this Cardinal Fire
In our modern world, it is so easy to move through the days, absorbing, consuming, filling the hours with whatever soothes or distracts. The noise is constant, the pull of screens, updates, and fleeting pleasures ever-present. But in the spaces between, something feels distant, an absence you can’t quite name. Creation does not come in those moments. Clarity does not come. When every gap is stuffed with external noise, there is no room left for your own voice, no space for your own vision to take shape.
To be fully alive is to be present with what stirs something real in you. Not simply reacting, not drifting from one thing to the next, but choosing with intent. This is not about chasing a fixed purpose, nor about forcing a rigid direction. It is about recognising what holds weight, what calls you forward, and moving in step with it. It is what it means to access the Aries within you.
So ask yourself this, do you live with curiosity, courage, kindness, and honesty, holding freedom of expression, adventure, and creative expression as priorities? If so, this is the Aries in you speaking. Remember, when you allow vision to move you, the shape of this knowing will change as you do, shifting, refining, unfolding. Move with it. Let it sharpen, let it evolve. But step away from reason, making it into something, and just let it be.
