The New Moon in Cardinal Fire on the 12th of April 2021 at 03:30 BST
Little Spirit let out a deep sign.
“I don’t understand why things don’t work out the way I envision them, Ma-ster”, she exclaimed. “I mean I have followed the guidelines and I believe that what I have envisioned is aligned with my core being, but still things have not presented themselves to me in the way that supports that vision.”
“Can you give me an example, Little One”, the Ma-ster asked
“Well I want to meet someone and have a partner, but it does not seem to be happening”
“I see, Little One. Do you truly envision yourself with someone?”
“I do. But I don’t want just anyone. I want someone who truly gets me; who sees me for who I am and not for what I can do for them; someone who respects my space and boundaries; who does not need a maid, a nurse, a counsellor or a mother; who is comfortable if I want to be alone or to travel away by myself; who does not get moody if I don’t want to hang out with them every evening; but who is utterly committed to their spiritual path, truly understands that intimacy does not mean sex and who takes responsibility for their Shadow; who…”
“Let me stop you Little One. Can I ask you, do you trust yourself?”
“What do you mean? Of course I do”
“But the way that you are talking, it does not sound as if you really understand that the external world mirrors the reality of your inner world. If you truly know yourself, if you are truly at one with yourself, and if you are truly at peace, then the outer world reflects that. It seems to me that you are sending out conflicting signals. You want to be in a relationship, yet you also deeply value your time, your independence and your space. Do you know that if you are truly at one with intimacy and independence, and not just in your head, that you will be drawn into a fellowship when your sOul is truly ready and not when you desire it?”
Little Spirit sat in silence, reflecting on the sage words of her Ma-ster. Her Ma-ster continued, “Your mixed energy is confusing to the universe. On one hand you are excited and clear about what you ‘desire’ but at the same time, fear or uncertainty lingers, casting doubt into that intention, therefore sending out a different signal – no I don’t really want to be with someone. You are right to be clear about the essence of whom you feel drawn towards. But you also have to know that in your core to be true. If you don’t experientially know that truth, how can it unfold? Your biggest responsibility is to train yourself to be all on one accord.”
“Little Spirit, it is one thing to repeat your affirmations daily and it’s another to truly embody these new beliefs. To be ‘in alignment’ means that your thoughts, your emotions, your energy and your body are all on one consensus. There cannot be any doubt within you because this throws you out of alignment.”
“But Ma-ster, but what you ask is impossible. How can I truly be in utter alignment? That would take too long to clear and heal. There are deep scripts and patterns, many from my bloodline that are complicating things. I do the work. I believe I am clear. But…”
“Trust and believe, Little One! Every relationship will carry crosses to bear. Every intention set will have mountains to climb and valley’s to descend. Nothing is ever perfect. No-one is perfect. That is the way of it. But if you truly know yourself and utterly trust, you will find the path and the way. And those who are aligned with you will also find their way to you. Intention is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. What you mean in your heart when you do a thing will always determine the outcome. There isn’t something special that you need to DO in order for things to work. It all comes down to what is happening on the inside of you. Your task is to be the embodiment of certainty, knowing it to be true. Trusting it to be so. Knowing it to be so. And it is.”
“Does a toddler doubt that she will walk? No. She keeps doing until she walks. She does not lose faith, as she has no awareness of doubt. She is surrounded by those willing her on. She is at one with the necessity to walk. And so she does. It is the same in all areas of life, regardless of the complexities of karma, personality, your past and your scripts. Be utterly one with what you envision, allowing that vision emerge not from your ego or desire, but from a knowingness. Sending out mixed signals will result in confusion.”
Little Spirit sat in contemplation, truly listening to that voice in her core, a voice that was telling her that she does not need someone to complete her; that she was not truly alone; that was whole and complete onto herself. It was a quiet voice that she did not want to truly listen to. But a voice she needed to listen to if she was to live in honest simplicity and to live in alignment with her deep truth.

And so it is today.
Are you truly living a simple life?
Are you embodying your values, or are you living within someone else’s opinion of what those values should be?
Do you live in alignment with your true values or do you live privately different to what you publicly profess?
Are you giving out mixed signals or are you living a simple, honest, uncomplicated life?
There is no doubt that it is hard to live authentically, which is why our children are our greatest teachers and inspiration. Younglings know no doubt. They just live in a constant state of awe, of joy, of oneness with the task at hand, and without criticism or doubt. They may come to learn that, as they interact with those who project their own unresolved fears and pain onto the child. But a child is without those qualities, even when physically handicapped, is born into a tragic background or is somehow ‘different’ to those in their immediate environment.
As we move through this immense redistribution of power, the issue of authenticity has arisen. Many are just going along with things, for the easy path; so there is no conflict; so that they don’t draw attention to themselves; so that they can ‘get’ back to things as they were. Very reasonable justifications.
But what does it truly mean to give out mixed signals? As Ma-ster says, it creates chaos and confusion; it creates duality, grief and depression; and the reality that emerges is equally dishonest and lacking in true integrity.
That does not mean the person themselves is a dishonest person. But it means that they are not living truthfully.
Avoiding pain is understandable and normal. Yet out of suffering is born the urge to seek truth. In suffering an immediate remedy or comfort is sought but the chance to spiritual awaken and en-lighten is missed. To be enlightened does not mean that you have to suffer, but everyone knows what is true. Not being true creates an illusory reality.
For me, the realisation of what is really true, is one of the gifts of this time as we are all being confronted by the reality of whether we are living simply and in accord with truth!
But it is really possible to live simply and to live in alignment with your spirit? Yes. Why? Because there exists within the consciousness pathway to make it happen!
Cardinal Fire, Aries
It is called Cardinal Fire, or Aries. This is the place within you wherein Spirit remains embryonic and wherein you can live without complexity, in simple honesty. Aries is simply is an expression of consciousness that pronounces a willingness to courageously bear the light and express love without any doubt or fear.
It sounds a lot like a child! After all, a child simply is. He/ she lives completely in the now. They do not worry. Their minds are not full of “what if” questions. They are true scientists continually asking What? Why? And How?! They are fuelled by enthusiasm and wonder. They live in joy because they only do what they love to do. They are the ultimate spiritual beings because they are in the continual act of creation through their own creativity.
To ensure that you are not creating mixed signals and that you are at one with your values, you may need to call upon the singularity of focus of the child within you and stop looking for perfection outside of yourself. You already know what to do. Don’t feel like you need to have someone else validate it for you. Choose to be certain. Choose to have unwavering faith in yourself and in what you will create. Choose to believe that you are doing all the right things and that you are in the right place. Take the pressure off of yourself to have everything all figured out and start trusting that you will receive guidance at each step along your journey. Just as any child receives; just as any child experiences.
You are going to be called upon to live your truth. You are going to be confronted not to be split between the adult and the child. You are going to be tested not to cede to external pressures, the vanity of the ego, or the exhaustion of the never-ending lockdown. You are going to be asked to speak up and forth. You are going to feel the need to embody what you know to be true and not to mitigate, compromise or take the easy path of compliance. This much is true.
If you are in touch with the Living Spirit in you, this task will not feel onerous as you will draw towards you the support from the world around you. Okay, you may have to let go those whose values have not allied with yours. And there is no denying that that will be painful if that loss arises within your family or close friendships. But you will not be living a dualistic life. Nor will not be living untruthfully. You will live at one with your spirit and will be living simply, honestly, just as a child does.
Little Spirit was called to be honest, truly honest with who she is. Her desire to be in partnership was conflicting with her hunger for independence. Until that is laid easy within her, she will continue to attract discomfort. Acknowledgement, acceptance and non-judgement are the first steps to true healing. Thereafter arises the awareness to recognise the rationalisations and justifications that create ambiguity. Just meditate on toddlers and there utter focus on their truth. Watch how the world supports them. It is that simple, even in an adult world.
For this month’s New Moon, I wish for you the simplicity, honesty, openness and clarity of a child.
