The New Moon in Cardinal Earth on the 30th of December at 22:26 GMT

Beneath the dim glow of a winter moon, where the veil of night lay soft as velvet upon the world, two souls, guided by an unseen current, drew ever closer, until the space between them ceased to exist. Pupils dilated, their soul light laid bare, shining radiant and unguarded, burning with the fervour of recognition. It was not just their gaze that connected, but the naked truth of who they truly are, without shadow, doubt or artifice.
The veil of pretence drawn aside, the spirit of creation stirred, In that touch, the unspoken language of creation ignited the fire, faint at first, like the glow of an ember hidden deep within ashes. Their bodies pressed tight, warm against the chill of winter. Slowly, fingers traced the contours of one another’s skin, reverent and searching, each touch a spark that lit the dimness surrounding them. The air grew thick with warmth, charged with the invisible energy that only love can conjure.
And then their lips met, their kiss offered, breath exchanged, merging, at first tentative, slow and tender, then more confidently and animated, as their hearts quickened, a rhythm shared in cadence older than time. Surrendering to one another, the barrier between flesh and spirit dissolved, their essences merged, no longer two but one, singular and whole.
The atmosphere charged with their fecund heat as their union deepened. Hands roaming, like pilgrims discovering sacred ground, reverent yet exploratory, every touch an invocation, every sigh a prayer, they weave themselves into one another, desire and devotion intertwining, inseparable.
In their closeness, time ebbed, the world outside falling away, as they vanished into one another, the lines between them blurring into something whole. Their movement, a pulse drawn from the heartbeat of the earth itself, primal and eternal; each whispered word, a promise that only they can hear, as they swim in the ocean of each other’s emotions.
The veil between the ordinary and the divine momentarily parts and within her, the seed of their love takes root. Their love, a flame shared, is now something far greater, a child. And in that child, the echo of this night lives.
This moment.
This miracle.
As dawn begins to break, casting its soft light upon the world, the two lay enveloped, their breaths as one. The world, it seems, shifted, if only slightly, to accommodate the quiet truth that love, given freely and wholly, births the fabric of existence itself.

Union and Creation
In the harmonious and conscious intentional confluence of two souls entwined, there lies a divine alchemy. As the veils of individuality are delicately drawn aside, the spirit of creation stirs, singing its eternal song. Two, each a universe entire, converge in a sublime act of surrender, a mingling of essences that flows beyond the bounds of the flesh.

In this hallowed embrace, the energy of the cosmos courses, igniting a luminous fire within. The very ethers quiver with anticipation, as the timeless rhythm of unity unfolds. Flesh meets flesh, yet it is the merging of energies, the interweaving of destinies, which kindles the miracle. Their love becomes the crucible wherein something greater than themselves is wrought.
From this blessed union, the seed of potential is sown, a spark of the infinite made manifest. Within the quiet sanctum of the feminine body, a delicate miracle begins its unfolding. Life, tender as the first blush of dawn, takes its place.
What greater tribute to love than this? A child, the embodied reminder of their unity, a vessel of their shared spirit, the physical realisation of their affection, proof that love, when truly bestowed, bridges the intangible and takes form in the earthly realm.
Capricorn
But what has this to do with Capricorn?
Having originated within one unified, undifferentiated, conscious source, consciousness is filtered into four simple forms. Known as Fire, Air, Water and Earth, these four forms are directed in one of three ways – in an outward, creational way; an inwardly directed fashion; and an intermingling and shared form. Together they create the twelve signs of the zodiac, a cyclical continuum of patterns, reflecting the differing pathways that unpin the way that life manifests. Every solar month you experience an illumination of a specific pathway within your life. From the 21st December 2024 through to the 19th January 2025, it is the time when Cardinal Earth takes centre stage.

The element of Earth is literally the matrix through which your soul’s imagination is physically shaped. Earth reflects how Light, or gOd, is expressed in form. Cardinality is a term to describe the act of creation. Together, Cardinal Earth, also known as Capricorn, is all about planting a seed and creating gOd in matter.
It is through the Capricorn pathway that you descend through the spiritual gateway, passing into the physical plane. In mystical traditions, Capricorn is often considered a sign of initiation, qualities attributed to the Christos. As a spiritual avatar, the Christ is seen as embodying the archetypal journey of transcending earthly struggles to achieve divine understanding, his birth being celebrated four days after the Capricorn Solstice, coincidental with the first day wherein the Sun (Light) appears to move again after his rest at the Turning of the Seasons, his resumed movement symbolically heralding the rebirth of the Light, known in Christianity as the birth of the Christ.
Eros and Capricorn
Not traditionally known for its erotic qualities, Cardinal Earth is the ground through the act of physically bringing something into being takes place, sexual union being the ultimate vehicle through which physical creation occurs. Love is a substance. It is not intangible or elusive. Sexual attraction may have a chemical explanation to it, it is more than merely physical – it is a creatrix energy at the root of all living beings and is inexorably linked to manifest love. The physical act of creating life, not the interior experience of love (Taurus) or the shared exchange of love (Virgo), belongs to Capricorn. That moment of syzergy maybe fleeting (Cardinal), but its results are everlasting (Earth).
The act of creation needs not be sexual. Any act of giving form to something heart felt is creational. But all heart-felt creational acts are erotic, as they come from the hunger of love, a force that goes beyond desire, which courses through you from within the fecund realm of your creative psyche. Lacking maturity to handle this deeply physical rhythm, many confuse this creatrix energy with sex, but in essence, the act of creation can be sexual, but it is deeper than that – it is the vehicle through which a new reality is brought forth, a child being the literal and symbolic emanation of this state.
Concluding Thoughts
This moonth’s reflection is to awaken your being to the spirit of creation, holding nothing back as you learn to find ease in risk, unfurling yourself into the grace of beginning and turning away from the chatter of perfectionism, trusting the raw and unfiltered gravity of knowingness that something has to come through you.
This creational force is at the root of your being. It is life. It is creation. It is movement. It is love as substance.
