The New Moon in Fixed Air on the 29th of January 2025 at 12:36 GMT
The night sky stretched wide, a dark expanse speckled with countless stars that twinkled and sang in voices too vast and ancient for any human tongue to capture. Ahyoka Nibiwan walked beneath their celestial chorus, her steps light and purposeful. Moving through the cool air, each breath soft and gentle as it mingled with the stillness of the night, she gazed upward as waters descended from the heavens, glimmering with strands of silver against the endless expanse of night sky. A curtain suspended in mid-air, it defied the laws of gravity and seemed to waver between tangible reality and intangible fantasy. As it reached the ocean’s surface, there was no deafening crash or violent clash; instead, the waters blended together seamlessly, as if they had always been one entity.
The sound of the waters filled the air, music unlike any she had heard before. It was a chorus of nature, each note carrying the energy and essence of life. As she listened, she could feel the pulse of roots sinking deep into the rich soil, the soft murmurs of creatures in their hidden dens, and sense the ebb and flow of tides echoing in perfect harmony with the Moon. The rush of water seemed to stir something deep within her.
Moving closer, the mist rising from the waterfall enveloped her, its touch cool and refreshing yet somehow alive, dew kissing her skin, lightly dampening her hair as if exploring her presence. Within the hazy mist, the boundaries between her thoughts and the world around her dissolved. Now standing adjacent, its immense power seemed to pulse through her veins, igniting a primal tone within. The thundering rush of water echoed in her mind, stirring up long-dormant instincts and memories. She could feel the cascade coursing within her, nourishing her very being and unveiling ideas, images and stories.
Mirroring themselves, the streaming waters reflected both the starlit skies above and the depths beneath, folded into one another like breaths exchanged between what is seen and unseen. Pausing, captivated by their shimmering dance, she saw, in their interplay, both the vastness of the cosmos and the intimate chambers of her own soul.

Instinctively compelled, slowly she immersed herself into the ethereal waters. The hazy spray thickened with each step, wrapping her in a silhouette of mystery, the familiar world faded away, replaced by a celestial realm. The stars lowered themselves and sang out in harmony with the rushing water, their angelic light danced across her skin, awakening The Hall within.
In this place, she existed between two worlds, untethered by ordinary understanding. It was not a place of answers, but one of pure presence where she could feel the ebb and flow of all things. The constellations pulsed above her, their cadence resonating through the depths of her being. Feeling the endless call of the stars above and the ocean below, she was the flowing waters between them.
Time suspended, her mind still, all was possible, the infinite glimpsed and idea upon idea poured through her in poetic cadence.
How long she sojourned is unknown, but eventually she emerged from the vertical stream. The world around her felt both unchanged and entirely transformed. The night air still sang its starry chorus just as before, yet something new she carried within her – a quiet knowing beyond words or facts, a deep understanding of the flow she had experienced and which now moved through her.
Walking forward into the night, the sound of those mystical waters lingered in her heart, carrying her towards boundless possibilities, Ahyoka Nibiwan was now the pathway between realities, between thought and insight, contemplation and reflection, ideal and nous. She is the stream of boundless possibility.

Wait! What? I thought Aquarius is an Air sign?

Indeed it is. Yet it is more than merely that agency of ideas and the fellowship of communion. It is the tone of the inner transmission, the movement of the silent voices and the electric charge of the voice within. But it is located within a region of the celestial sphere that is our heavenly waters, pouring, nay cascading down from the realm of the angelic into the matrix of inspiration itself, our earthly oceans. Enfolded onto each other, just as sky and earth are one and the same, this streaming wave is both liminal and inaudible, yet also visceral and a resonant pulse.
Like the birth canal from the womb waters to the birthing pool, the funnel between is Aquarius – an unseen fertile passageway, bringing forth that which has gestated within into a new realm, just like the silent ideas that quietly germinate, exciting the spirit, craftedly laboured and eventually birthed as an animated tone, story or idea.
But to access this stream, you have to journey within. You see, it is in the quiet moments when the world fades into stillness, that deeper voice begins to stir within. Not bound by language, yet it speaks with clarity, shaping thoughts like droplets of water cascading from a waterfall. Subtle yet resonant, this inner voice is always present, though often obscured by the clamour of everyday distractions.
How do you access it, if the ethereal waterfall that met Ahyoka Nibiwan is inaccessible?
It washes through you in the act of contemplation; that pause where the mind steps aside, allowing something greater to unfold. Contemplation is neither a reaching nor a searching; it is more like waiting at the threshold, allowing the unseen to come forward.
The silent music of existence—what some call Nada—reveals itself in this space. This is not music in the sense of instruments or melody, but a vibration, a pulse that underpins all life. It is heard only when the senses retreat, when the inner ear awakens to what lies beyond the surface. This is the sound of essence, the hum of creation itself, woven so deeply into the fabric of being that it requires stillness to perceive.
To hear Nada is not to encounter a foreign element but to return to what has always been known. It is the gentle reminder that the universe moves with rhythm and precision, and that we, too, are part of this greater harmony. The purpose of this silent music is not to explain or resolve, but to remind—of our connection, our balance, and the quiet power of simply being. It does not impose meaning but allows it to rise naturally, as light emerges with the dawn.
The inner voice, so often drowned out by the noise of the world, finds its fullest expression in these moments of quiet reflection. It offers no answers, for answers are the domain of questions, and contemplation transcends both. Instead, it guides, as a stream guides the leaves it carries—not with force, but with inevitability. The silent music flows alongside it, not as a companion but as an inseparable part of the experience. Together, they illuminate the truth that clarity is not the result of seeking but of allowing.
As the canoes of the Lights draw closer together along the celestial waters, the opportunity to dive into the waters of contemplation and breathe in the freshness of the ionised air, is offered to you. Without this space between the imagination and action, insight and inspiration are not possible, and our world remains flat, grey and uniform. Why wouldn’t you want to engage this part of your psyche? Why wouldn’t you want to spend time in silent sojourn, underneath the liminal waterfall, drenched in the Nada and open to the Light of the Hall of Records?
This New Moon is one wherein you are called into contemplation; to hear both the inner voice and the silent music, not to find resolution but more to discover alignment. To engage the Aquarian in you is to tune in, to listen with your whole being, and to discover that the music is already playing. What greater call could there be than to hear it clearly, to carry its resonance into every step and thought, and to know that in the stillness, everything needed is already present?
