Cardinal Earth Saturn is in waning Quintile to Cardinal Fire Chiron and Ceres is in waning semi-sextile to Chiron
“The Earth is our origin and destination. he ancient rhythms of the earth have insinuated themselves into the rhythms of the human heart. The earth is not outside us; it is within: the clay from where the tree of the body grows. When we emerge from our offices, rooms and houses, we enter our natural element. We are children of the earth: people to whom the outdoors is home. Nothing can *truly* separate us from the vigour and vibrancy of this inheritance.” John O’Donohue, Beauty: The Invisible Embrace
And yet, something does.
Disconnection! This disconnection, or disenchantment, occurred within Europe after 1518, the year of the last ‘redistribution of power’. Since that date, any other way of viewing the Earth has been dismissed as romantic or nonsensical.
Questions are not asked of the sOul of the Earth, but merely of ownership, economic possibility and of what can be materially gained. For example, when a mountain is to be pulled down to produce cement, coal or to provide housing for expanding suburbanites, the questions asked are not only those relating to stream-flow, damage to water quality, future mudslides, fire danger, loss of animal habitat or air pollution. Of paramount importance are also questions of beauty and the unequal allocation of wealth and power that allows investors to make decisions affecting large numbers of creatures based only upon narrow self-interest.
Still more difficult are questions relating to the sacredness of Mother Earth and of the rights of mountains to exist without being mutilated. When do we have the right to mutilate a mountain? Are there processes that might require that the mountain’s right to exist in beauty be weighed against the money-making desires of a human or human group?
Redistribution of Power
The redistribution of power of 2020, a seed planted that will define our reality until 2754 BCE, asks the question of the sOul of the Earth and how we have lived without truly understanding the truth of our ecological holism. Our society is sick. The world we have carved up is sick. The pain of our ancestors is our pain. It is that pain that drains the sOul of the Earth, rendering it infertile just as our depression, our sadness, our lack of sacredness drains the Light from the Earth.
But healing is always on offer to those who ask.
The healing required is to mend the dis-connection that we have to our bodies, to our Earth. Our physical world is a reflection of our physical bodies. Our physical environ is a reflection of our immediate environ.
Hope
There are so many women walking Light into the Earth, journeying to places of pain to heal the collective trauma held in the soil and rocks. Equally, many people are quietly turning their back on those governing and creating co-operative, inclusive and conscious communities or re-connecting to the Spirit within every living and non-living entity.
It is a quiet and silent movement, away from the glaze of the media. I hear these stories every day with those who seek my council. I can feel their hOpe as the re-engaged Feminine has once again awoken. She is reclaiming her sovereignty.
But the healing is a slow journey that requires the release of countless abuses – layer upon layer of genocide.
The sOul of the Earth has been awakening. But will you listen?
