The New Moon in Mutable Fire on the 23rd of November 2022 at 22:57 GMT
Once your soul truly awakens, the search for a way home begins. Perception can never return to what it was. Upon crossing that threshold, your very being is inflamed with a special longing that will never again let you linger in the lowlands of complacency and partial fulfilment. No longer does the world of the ordinary hold your attention as your vision filters out the non-material, seeking only that which gives deeper meaning and desiring connection with those whose presence fuels the hunger for meaningful union.
At least your sense of humour is not lost amidst the paradoxical worlds you straddle as you meander the supermarket aisles seeking ethically sound ‘processed’ food, all the while quelling the voice that reminds you that you should search for a farmer who grows true organic veggies!
But awakening can be a lonely journey, especially as you are hard wired for connection. Of course you know that you will have an impact on all those you interact with. But there is a hunger to be in the presence of like-minded kin, wherein the interaction feels equal and you don’t need to teach, disciple or facilitate another. This does not come from a place of arrogance but merely from a place of communion. After all within you exists countless worlds where resides billions of beings all orbiting some unknown barycentre
Change of focus
Once a warrior hell bent on protection, with awareness that passion is now heart-focused, the quest of the warrior is now to surrender to the creative life force that straddles the under and over-worlds, opening up a heart-centred power which is turn generates a keen aware of life and death and the necessity to harness the power of the heart.
Walking this along this path the warrior now heads in the direction towards a deeper understanding of the heart’s desire and longings, yet is constantly surrounded by lustful hungers mistaking physical connection for the spiritual connection that the heart yearns for. It is through this heart light that creation emanates, and it is through the heart’s mysteries that the warrior now explores.
Sagittarius
This warrior is known by another name – Sagittarius. Its existence is one of the twelve dominions within every animate and inanimate entity that resides within this yellowed plane of consciousness. More accurately known as ‘Mutable Fire’, Sagittarius is a state of consciousness that engages an equal two way interaction of light between at least two differing entities.
Fire is one of the four tangible perceptions through which humanity views the world, and is the filter through which the concept of Sagittarius is honed. Fire, or Light, is your connection to pure spirit and when you are connected to your fire, not only can you access a deeper sense of purpose, but you can become sustained through life’s vicissitudes.
Without fire you can forget your connection to spirit; without inner purpose, your soul’s intention may struggle to find expression; without vision, you cannot create intention and therefore reality. When you connect to what gives you passion and purpose; when you truly understand what triggers your ego or sense of pride; then the dense emotional states such as fear, doubt and insecurity can be dispelled.
Mutability on the other hand refers to the way in which this light is experienced – in a two way exchange. Light is neither generated nor internalised. It is shared openly and freely, and it is also received.
Therefore the message of this warrior is quite simple, namely that as one spreads one’s light, light is simultaneously received from another. In other words, you are simultaneously giving to another your light, whilst you are receiving from them their light.
However in practise this concept is inherently hard to live, particularly in a fast changing world, wherein your light is constantly growing and evolving, even if the following question is Sadge’s raison d’etre – what is it that you are disseminating and what are you giving permission to receive?
Changing Meaning
A collection of 17 suns, Sagittarius is one of 48 constellations known to antiquity and across all cultures the eidetic imagery associated with this region of space, the half man-half animal warrior archer, is retained. Yet its meaning has substantially changed, as its bow is no longer pointed towards the rival of Mars, Antares, since that star is now contained within the plethora of nebula, galaxies and the irradiate Milky Way – the spiral arm of hundreds of thousands of Suns within our galaxy.
Sagittarius no longer needs to stave off the depth of emotional intimacy that once was feared to overwhelm his stoicism. In fact, it is this heart based intimacy that Sagittarius now seeks. Let us not mistake this intimacy as being of the flesh, as this sign is a fire sign whose focus is that of spirit. Therefore relationships based on the physical hold little allure to this Jedi light bearing warrior.
The focus is that of collaboration with other light beings, sharing and exchanging inspiration, opening up the heart to giving and receiving pure, unrefined and undiluted spirit. Simple, eh?!
So the path of Sagittarius is that of a baptism of fire, to purify the soul of those attachments that keep the spirit bound to the Wheel, yet at the same time appreciating and enjoying the experience of all the radiance that occurs within this physical realm. Remember that its Satyr inspired form, Sadge has a foot in two realms and it is seeking to bring to spirit the joy of living, as much as it is seeking to explore how to be in the world as a light being.
Reflection in the days leading to the New Moon
So there are a few questions to ask this part of your soul, as the Sun and Moon align, without major distraction, on the 23rd of November, as you feel the impetus to better understand the exchange of light between you and those in your world.
Knowing yourself is one of the fundamental questions that enables you to understand the meaning of the external world that orbits you, since that world is generated from the passion of your psyche within. The questions are quite simple.
Who are you truly, when
- within you resides multiple realities and personas?
- you strip away the verbiage of the inane stories that you have given permission to reside within you?
- you are away from the roles you have adopted?
- you are in the presence of others and you find your barycentre altering?
- you are without the comforting rays of the morning light that rescues you from the labyrinth of your night?
- you are away from the imprisoning façades and the system that bleeds you of your creative energy?
As Sagittarius is now focused upon th
e release of those emotional patterns that keep you from emptying your heart from judgement and isolation, this New Lunar-Solar time offers you the opportunity to cast into the flame of light those scripts and patterns that no longer serve you, and to experience the etent ot the light of those in your world, as you ponder whether it is time to direct and receive your light from different generating sources.
Intention for the New Moon
An intention that I would invite you to hold a space for during this Mutable Fiery month is that your shadows are embraced by the light; that your consciousness is purified within the flame of consciousness; and that your truth is reborn, both within and without.
I also hope that through this fire, the thought of the “I” can be burned away, leaving only the sense of this living passion, as you get to be here and now, in this very moment, in a co-creative flame of awareness.
