The Solstice on the 21st of December at 10:02 GMT
The Rite of Passage that is the Turning of the Light is a threshold acknowledged globally as the imbalance of Light and Dark reaches its natural crescendo. Two differing perspectives nicely balanced as Southerners prepare for the descent of the Light from the luminous high perched throne, whereas Northerners celebrate the rebirth of Light from within the cavernous dark.
Beautifully mirroring each other, this partnership defines our world. The Light does not see inside things. That is what the dark is for. Our essence may be true light but it has to find form in the world through the veil of liminal shadows.
As you hold a space on this momentous threshold, our thoughts naturally wander towards the immediate path forward on this Turning – southerners look down and in and northerners look up and out – remember that it is in those places where your thoughts never assume to wander, the truth of your being is discovered.
Blessings to you and yours on this Solstice morn, the Sun entering Cardinal Earth, or tropical Capricorn, at 10:02 GMT and Jupiter conjoins with Saturn for the first time in a couple of millennia on the Solstice at 18:20 GMT.
