Choices.
What reality will we create once we are through this time, after all do you really want to return to how it was? I remember the Beast from the East winter in Ireland on the 2nd March 2018 for the displays of kindness, community consideration and outreach, people making sustained eye contact with each other, eager to engage, not concentrating on their phones lest they slipped on the ice, the quietness without the background drone of the M50 motorway, the laughter of adults playing during a weekday with their kids as they threw snow at each other. I remember walking down the middle of the road to the supermarket with tens of people, none of whom knew each other, all of whom were neighbours, asking concerned questions of each other. I remember thinking how this could be the start of something. And then the snow melted…
But there is something deeper in this current threshold… it has been coming for quite some time. I’ve been talking with clients about it since 2015, and some of the family choices Karen and I have made have been made with this time in mind. I am excited about the prospects of what can be, even if I am deeply disturbed by what is actually emerging. Regardless of the potential darker implications of what a dying system may attempt to create beneath the guise of a caring and benevolent overlord, it is the people themselves that can define what world we truly want to live in. It is the choices that you will make that will define the construct of your reality.
Yes there is pain and suffering, but unfortunately that appears to be part and parcel of being human and a dimension of fundamental change – ask any woman who has given birth whether she remained the same person she was before pregnancy, and ask her whether her labouring was free of pain. Ask her what it felt like to have the baby expose its ‘corona’ (crown) first and ask her how she felt after the pain and she settled into a completely new world and reality…
And so after years of disconnection to a unified consciousness, our collective Crown has finally been poisoned (Corona literally means crown and Virus literally means poison). That disconnection has resulted in so much that is wrong with our current world, as we see so many things happening in an attempt to create a unified response.
And finally, it has happened.
We are all united by what is emerging and a space is opening up for us to create afresh. It feels to me that there are those already conscious of that and are already taking measures to build afresh, but they will require your consent.
Yet how can you envision from a place of fear, as the dark twins anxiety and fear place you in survival mode, unable to access a deeper vision, a fact used as a weapon within this global battle in the re-distribution of power. But if you look deeper into the fear and if you truly understand what change is accompanied with, then you will find a place that is truly free, from which you can connect to a deeper or higher vision, a place from which the embryonic seeds of a new reality can be planted.
Within this enforced retreat, you have time. You have time to connect to those around you. You have time to listen to nature. You have time to reach out to those you don’t normally have time for (via phone of course!). You have time to still your mind. You have time to re-envision. You have time to re-connect. You have time… We are all in the same boat, if the economic tanks. We are all in the same boat if draconian measures are enforced. And for those who have previously lived in austere times, humans find a way to survive, as they come together as one to support each other. So you need not worry about that future.
This is one of the most singularly uniting events of our time and the kerios is ripe to bring new conditions of being into reality. The question within the intensification of the coming two weeks, is will you breathe through the fear and open yourself up to starting afresh?
