The 23rd March as Mars and Pluto conjoin in Cardinal Earth
As the people of the finally confronts the mayhem that our way of living has created and as Nature thrives in the space that we have left, we are being called to look at the way in which we have directed our life-force and to ask the question as to what quality of life do we truly want to create in the aftermath of this pandemic. Do we want to return to the way that it was? Do we want to feel so tired at the end of the day that it significantly impacts the quality of our relationships? Do we want to work to live? Do we want to live in isolation and segregation, without community and without social interaction? Do we want to live at the pace that life has evolved into? Do we want to feel adrenaline coursing through our systems, heightening our reactions, raising our blood pressure and weakening our immune system? Do we want to long for the weekend and for our holidays, because our time is not our own, often soaked up by sitting in a square metal box, on an asphalt carpet, fuelled by the black life-blood of the Earth?
For many, their life force is not really their own and as over 900 million people are asked to curtail their life styles, many are truly waking to this realisation and are flourishing in this enforced alternative. We will return to social interaction and business; we will return to converting our life-energy into money; we will return to some form of reality, but for me the question being asked of us during today’s Mars-Pluto conjunction, a question that will gradually be answered over the coming two years, is what sort of reality do we want to create? How do we want to invest our energy? What spirit do we want to channel through us? What quality life do we want?
We have a lot more say in how to create this reality than our plutocrats realise. Already scared of the power of collective activism, a force that has been gathering momentum over the past half a decade, as more and more people question the Orwellian constructs that are being stealthily erected, the plutocrats may have legislated under the guise of this Emergency, but the power of your actions and voice are more than you realise and we have the chance to truly create afresh. Nature is thriving where it once struggled; the air is cleaner over parts of the world, dirtied by our factories, cars and manufacturing and the water is clearer. Do you want to return to the way it was, or will you direct your energy towards developing a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle?
