Nothing is as it seems.
What is real and what is not? Is anything real? Is everything merely a projection of our inner world onto the world without? Is it really possible to perceive objectively, to put aside all experiences, scripts, patterns and conditioning and to engage emotionally with no attachment? Is it truly possible to know anyone in your world?
Everything solid is now diffuse; all boundaries have faded into the myst; all structures are being dissolved; no-one is as it seems…
The thinning of the bridge between worlds which began twenty six years ago has been thinning like the melting ice caps, dissolving our reality, forcing us to give up on our addiction to form, matter, money and ego, and mirroring back at us the illusion that the world is there for us to conquer, tame and use indiscriminately. No relationship has survived this erosion, just as all structures we have created have worn away.
And yet within this chaotic maelstrom lies the possibility of seeing the truth of the dis-ease of our inner world and how that has impacted our outer world, just as within this flux is the chance to mould and shape an alternative reality. We have tried to control and manage; we have tried to lead from up top; we have tried to separate each other within categories of gender, race, creed, economics, genetics; we have tried to separate ourselves from our truth – our inner world, and it has not worked. Will we, therefore, accept that it is insanity to continue on the same path? Will we truly embrace the deeper message of this time? Maybe reality exists within and not without; maybe by healing our inner world, we will heal the outer world; maybe by listening within, we can truly hear; maybe by accepting that we are all healing something, we can cultivate greater compassion and acceptance; maybe by knowing that we are all dysfunctional, we can help each other and help our world; maybe by understanding that everything is part of a deeper consciousness – EVERYTHING – that we would treat everything with greater respect? Maybe… The awakening of the Western Mind from its disenchantment is at a critical turning point. The direction it will take is within you to guide. Will you choose to surrender and heal, or will you choose to continue as is?
