Fixed Water Venus approaches her lowest Southerly Declination, paralleling Pluto, Saturn and Mars
5 and 24 days to go…
Swimming alone, within the cavernous deep waters of your heart, seldom frequented because of busyness and the demands made upon you from those in your life, complex questions arise with every stroke you make within the darkened silence – what is my true value; what do I have to offer; is my worth purely physical – what I do, how I look, what I can provide…; what will it take for someone to ‘see’ the depth of my sOul and its kaleidoscope of colours, including those moody, sombre and duller shades? – followed by dramatic scenarios that are played out like a scene from a soap opera as your mind eagers jumps in and unhelpfully offers answers!! Frustrated by the narrowness through which you are seen, you know you are more than what you can show, that within you lies a hunger to be accepted for who it is that you are and not for what you appear to be.
You can feel the tide turning, that the old ways are dying off; you can feel the waters gentle heat up from below, as to the surface rises all that has been hidden and conveniently ‘forgotten’; and you can sense that a time is coming when the sexualisation and triviality of gender/ race/ creed/ accent/ body shape/ economics cedes under the weight of those who are willing to look inward to ‘see’ the truth that lies within.
You know that by truly accepting yourself as you are, willing to address that which no longer supports you, healing that which genuinely needs healing and letting go those attachment to those people and circumstances that are unwillingly to embrace you as you are, but that does not make swimming alone easy at times. But at least you can listen within the silence; at least you can truly hear, without distraction; and at least you can, in time, become much more comfortable with this neglected, shadowy, fertile place from which your emotional reality has been created.
So swim alone, dive deeply and let surface those complex questions, the answers to which can open your heart further to true intimacy.
