The 5th May as Mutable Air Evening Star Venus squares Mutable Water Neptune
Connected for the coming two and a half months, the question of transparency regarding what is of true value is being pushed to the forefront of your consciousness. Indeed stories of obscuration, verging on dishonest secrecy will inevitably scandalise, so too heart breaking stories of people’s lives touched deeply by this re-distribution of power.
And yet within the midst of this chess game arises your personal question – what can you do to co-create a higher value for you and yours. Not losing sight of humanity is perhaps something to reflect on as decades of desensitisation may have eroded our hearts.
Not losing sight of humanity begs the question, is what I am purchasing adding value to my life and has it been ethically sourced? Has it arisen from ‘someone’ who has consciously and knowingly exploited another to create an enticement? If I truly need the latest and newest, what will become of that which I discard? Will it be downcycled or merely dumped? Am I buying from those very corporations that I rile against on my social feeds and thereby giving them my consent to continue their business as normal? And so on…
The question has been asked, what can I do within this maelstrom. It is perhaps simple – keep true to your humanity. Ask questions of who are you giving consent and validation to by your decisions, economic or otherwise. For example, money is merely an ‘energy’ exchange between two people based on giving someone/ something value. If you don’t value something, don’t give it energy (or your money), after all nothing can truly survive without energy… If you want to co-create within this re-distribution of power, consider whether your economic choices ally with your philosophical and ethical beliefs.
