War
What is it good for?
Actually many things, none of which have the common soul’s best interest in heart, all of which stem from base human experiences like greed, material power and wealth.
“We’re at war, all the papers say” (Stuart Adamson, Where the Rose is Sown), and we are in a perpetual state of conflict. Side stepping the aggressive impulses of homo sapien sapiens, whose success genocide of other hominid species left them as the most successfully killing machine on the Earth, warmongering is at the heart of the political institutions as a method of keeping people distracted and in a state of perpetual fear. Westerners may be now focused on a physical war in a European country, overlooking the magical ‘disappearance’ of war over the past two years in Syria, Palestine, Ethiopia, Yemen, Somalia to name but a few, but we have been engaged in a perpetual state of war for quite some time, the language of covid notwithstanding.
Humanity has been evolving at a rapid pace, cosmologically speaking, for the past hundred odd years, and whilst largely distracted, the heart of humans has become increasingly kind, considerate and peaceful. There is no hunger for conflict between nations from ordinary folk, even if conflict towards neighbours, members of the community and certain ethnic/ social/ gender groups remains active. It is against this process of becoming more conscious that the war is truly against.
As long as you are kept divided and distracted, the further from inner peace you will be, and by extension the further from outer peace we will be.
I cannot fathom why anyone would continue to read or watch the regular media, given the voluminous historical information available to clearly outline the distortion of reality and the bias. Moreover, ladies, this question is for you – why would you trust the media given how you have been treated, after all women have been largely written out of history, if you were to believe much of the literature that has been published pre-21st century? As an astrologer, I am intimate with the lies of the media and the intellectual bias of academics, who have intentionally written astrology out of history, a fact that has been tackled head on within the astrology community. Moreover, as a professional who works with people in the public domain, the information I am privy to that contradicts the general public awareness has deeply impacted why I have not bought a newspaper in close to two decades.
But that personal prejudice aside, the sooner that people realise that Westerners have not lived within democratic principles for many decades, the better we can cast off the clothes we adorn and can start to truly re-engineer how we wish our world to be. And it is happening. Away from the media limelight. The deeply unhealthy society that we have permitted to be built is crumbling. That is one of the issues at the heart of this redistribution of power. The hunger to return to true community; to eat healthily; to live in sync with Nature’s rhythm; to use human ingenuity to work with Nature, as opposed to destroy it and us; the desire to have a sustainable living based on what is your passion; to talk about the trauma and pain of the soul in an open manner; to freely express oneself; not to be consistently tired and drained, unable to be truly free because of the pursuit of ‘freedom under the illusion of ‘get-ahead’ or that ‘money = freedom’’ is something that is happening all over the world. It is simply not making headlines. Why? Because fear and doom sells, aside from what it does to you physiologically.
The timing of the Ukrainian incursion could not be better timed than it is, nor the other features of the 2020 redistribution of power. And we are not over it. On que, covid has ‘disappeared’, though the legal framework for covid regulations remains in place. Complacency is not something we can entertain at this point in time. Nor the feeling of powerlessness and hopelessness. There are those in our world who truly understand the cosmological rhythm and its potential manifestations within our humanity. And they are using it brilliantly. That concerns me, given the stark reality of seeing where so many people are at. We live within a deeply unhealthy society. Deeply.
Nutritionally starved, mentally distracted, societally distanced, sexually and physically dysmorphic, is this the world you want to continue to live within?
Don’t get me wrong, I am not pro-Russian. Having been born during a war in Northern Ireland, my parents made a choice to leave the threat of violence and psychological and sectarian war behind to live in a hotel in another country, whilst seeking to settle, before returning to the Southern shores of Ireland to put down roots. My paternal grandfather, and subsequently his family suffered from the PTSD of fighting in the British Army in Africa in WWII, so I truly know the legacy that war has on a family, as I know many reading this note will attest too. I am also not pro-NATO, EU or any government for that matter. I truly feel for the innocent caught up in a game of chess, and what that means for their families in the years to come, let alone what division that can create between nations in the years to come.
We have seen how powerful people can be against tyranny, both in the past two years and in history. This is something we need to continue to focus on, as the energetic conditions for a more unified humanity are extant within the coming years. This is a spiritual battle for your sOul, being played out around the world. The first thing we need to do is to heal that division, judgement and assumptions that are directed towards ourselves, and towards others. What do you truly gain by labelling someone? What do you gain from when you choose to remove the freedom to choose from them? What do you gain when you seek to put someone down, judge them or make assumptions about them, as so many have done during the past two years? That is where we need to begin. At home.
What is manifesting in the world, is merely an extension of what is going on within each of us. You have the power within yourself to make a difference to yourself and those in your life. You truly do not know how your kindness and non-judgement will impact another outside of your circle. In time, that is a world to dream into being. It is the world that Karen and I have embodied and live, and we have seen how that has manifested within the community that we orbit and in turn that orbits us. It is possible. The Kairos is ripe.
