What do you ‘see’?
Not what you have learnt to ‘see’ or have been told to ‘see’, after all those facades serve to imprison you within someone else’s opinion. What lies in your heart that cannot hide, that appeases your sOul during times of forlorn sadness; that awakens your eternal beauty and light of your sOul? What never fails to raise your spirit, spreading the warmth of joy through you, lighting the homing beacon that beams your flame through your eyes?
Do you ‘see’ the inherent beauty that exists within our world; the genuine kindness that dwells within our heart; the lOve that motivates great feats, compelling the sOul to incredible actions; the awesomeness of life and its infinite creativity; the vastness of the imagination and the abundance of spirit that can uplift everyone and everything?
Do you ‘see’ lOve as the foundation of the sOul and engage with others seeking to awaken the lOve within them, regardless of where they are at, what path they have chosen or whether they lash out from pain, undifferentiated ego scripts, ancestral binds or deep, complex and subtle conditioning?
Do you ‘see’ past the façade to the person that often lies within, ‘seeing’ the child in the adult, ‘seeing’ the hunger for wonder, the return to innocence and the longing to live simply from a place of lOve?
Moreover, do you act in accordance with what you ‘see’?
If you ‘see’ lOve then when violence is directed towards you, if you witness unkind acts or when someone attacks you, do those images haunt your mind, allowing righteousness inflame your heart, and does the confrontation burrow into you for days or weeks afterwards, upsetting your equanimity as hurt and anger replay freely as you relive what has befallen you time and time again?
If you ‘see’ lOve, do you use the ammunition that has been discharged to hurt you to spiral into a vortex of self-deprecating criticisms, retaliating out of a perverse sense of vindicated justice, further binding you and your ‘mirror’ in a deeper karmic embrace? Or do you liberate yourself from this potential incarceration by transmuting the hostility with sincere compassion, looking that person in the eye, offering them the gift of a heartfelt smile and inviting them for a cuppa and chat?
If you ‘see’ lOve, do you apply that towards your body and have actively and willingly cut out lower energy foods, foods that are cheap, poorly produced or that have been traumatically manipulated, heavily processed and addictive?
If you ‘see’ lOve, do you ‘see’ it within everyone else and therefore engage with them from a place of lOve and kindness, knowing that within them exists an infinitely creative being, unique and boundless, engaging them with respect and curiosity so that you can gain entrance to their exceptional inner universe?
If you ‘see’ lOve, do you truly know that everything you can image is real; that a story is more potent than history; that your dreams are more powerful than facts; that hope always triumphs over experience; that laughter is the only cure for grief; and that lOve is stronger than hate, fear and death combined?
If you ‘see’ lOve, do you believe in the stories of your childhood, stories that read like operating instructions, embedded with kernels of truth, illuminating the liminal and imaginal realms, expressing truth through metaphor, allegory and drama, or have you forgotten those truths because they lack sophistication or discursive thinking or because they are purely for kiddies fantastical entertainment and not based on anything ‘real’?
If you ‘see’ lOve, do you actively seek it, breathe it, know it, feel it, live it, or have you allowed what others ‘see’ dilute and mitigate what you ‘see’ in favour of what they ‘see’?
Imagine sharing what you ‘see’! Not evangelising it, but being true to who you are; being you; truly you; imagine what that would mean for you and what world you would create? Imagine truly knowing yourself and having utter faith in who you are and in turn, because others are inspired by you, then in turn share their truth and live in accord with that truth. Imagine in time what world you would create free from the lies; free from the incongruous notion that you are not important and that your life does not matter? Imagine what world you would create from a place of infinite abundance as you look within to yourself for all that you need as opposed to relying upon a system, a teacher, an astrologer, a guru, a leader to show you the way?
At 7:20am on the 7th December the lights of the heavens align within the tropical zodiacal sign of Mutable Fire, or Sagittarius, a cosmic category that speaks of our collective, and personal, eagerness to willing share and receive the light that exists within. The message of Mutable Fire is a simple one – what you ‘see’ is what you offer and what you receive. In other words, if you send out goodness from yourself, or if you share that which is happy or good within you, it will all come back to you. What you seek to share, you receive.
Do you ‘see’ the infinite boundless possibility of lOve or do you ‘see’ a world devoid of enchantment, operating from a purely self-centred, self-driven, self-preserving ambition? If you are struggling to know what you ‘see’, just look at the quality of the relationships you have in your life you will know what you ‘see’ by the way in which you interact, what you retain from the other and what you truly ‘see’ in the other!
The beauty of this Light-replenishment in December is that the opportunity exists to purify your consciousness from the shadows projected onto you; to bring spirit through you so that you can start the process of actualising your dream; and to open your awareness to the knowingness of your uniqueness.
Through this fire, the thought of “I” can be burned away, leaving only the sense of this living passion. As your soul awakens, lOve becomes more conscious. As you centre yourself on lOve, it is difficult to return to ignorance; it is challenging not to believe that you can live a sustainable life, creating a livelihood from your lOve. As lOve becomes your ideal, you are inflamed with a special longing that will never again let you linger in the lowlands of complacency and partial fulfilment.
Remember that lOve knows no competition. Light has no boundaries. Righteousness, zealousness and fear have no place in lOve. lOve is unconditional, omnipresent and eternal. It is utterly accepting, since it just IS. The lOve you offer willingly, even if you are hurting and angry, will be mirrored back to you from those who venture into your world. Since this exchange is two way your lOve, in turn, can soothe the pain and suffering in another, who may glimpse the key that has lain hidden within their own inner prison confines.
My hOpe for you this coming lunation is summarised within the lyrics written by the musicians and healers Githa Ben David and Lars Muhl in their song, In This Fire:
In this fire, may the bound be free
In this fire, may fear be met and understood
In this fire, may peace reach within
In this fire, may shadows be embraced by light
In this fire, may the lost be found
In this fire, may consciousness be purified
In this fire, may truth be re-born
Thank you for taking time to read what I offer you, and for your time throughout 2018.
