I have a particularly psychological and spiritual orientated way at looking at life through the lens of astrology, a style that has matured and developed (and is still evolving and growing) over the twenty four years I have worked as a full time astrologer and has been especially influenced by working on a daily basis with clients all over the world. Many of the theories that I read about as a student did not seem to work when I was dealing with people and so my practice has developed into a unique style of astrology that many professional astrologers have been inspired by and have adapted their practice to mirror what I have developed.

I believe that there does not exist one life purpose, one true soul mate, one career, one perfect location, one ideal life.

What I have learnt from my time in astrology is that within you are differing levels of consciousness, each with their own scripts, patterns and perspective; each with their own specific perception and consciousness – some of which compliment, some of which create tension; each with their own soul timing; each with their own resonance to specific locations. Each of those consciousnesses are reflected in a specific planetary archetypal complex and your birth chart reveals what those scripts are, when those scripts are likely to arise in a more conscious manner, and where those scripts are likely to play out. However, a chart alone does not define HOW you will experience those patterns. That is up to you, your level of awareness, your choices, your experiences and your circumstances, all of which are not revealed by a chart alone.

In other words, that which is above, is reflected on that which is below; that which is within, is mirrored in the world without; that which is below, impacts that above; without alters in sync with within; all in the pursuit of deeper understanding, healing, meaning and lOve.

This rich, broad and diverse field, the central tenant of which contends that our multifaceted lives are embedded within a vibratory universe, and whose invariant cyclical and spiraling growth reflects itself within the ever evolving perspectives that we experience on an every day level.

If you are new to astrology, it might be useful to think of it in a similar way to music – astrologers, like musicians, use the same basic premise and set of tools but, in my opinion, the astrologer’s awareness and consciousness guides the way in which the astrology is expressed.

Therefore it is possible to gain insight from any well trained astrologer but you may not resonate with his or her style in the same way that you can appreciate numerous musical genre’s but continue to have your own preferences.

The practice of astrology, whilst an ecological and holistic philosophical approach to living, has in recent years been concentrated into a consultation, or for some a ‘reading’,  with someone whom has dedicated their life to understand how the cosmic consciousness is interwoven within our individual perceptions of reality. Engaging with an astrologer is a co-creative interaction wherein the seeker shares personal context to assist the astrologer interpretation of the harmonic relationships that you and the cosmos have with each other.  

Over the twenty seven years of professional practise I have moved towards an intuitive, divinatory and psycho-spiritually orientated co-creative approach, using the tropical zodiac, within the Western perspective of horoscopic astrology.
