Slowing and focusing, her senses sharpened as the end draw closer, her heart reigns in her mind pleading with it to remain here and now, as opposed to planning to-do lists. ‘But I’ve so much to learn and so little time to do it in’ says the mind… ‘but I’ve so many people to connect with and so much to share’ says the mind… ‘but I’ve not yet learnt all I need to learn’ says the mind… ‘but …’
‘Stop’, her heart says… ‘be here. Be now. You are not your past. You are not your future. You are here and now. You can connect. You can openly express your heart. You can feel everything and everyone in your life now. You don’t need to do wait for the ‘right’ circumstances, the right person, the right timing. It is here and now. What you believe your future will be arises from who you are right now. What you believe your past to have been, arises from who you are now. You cannot control how someone will react to you. You cannot control whether someone projects onto you. You cannot control whether someone will self-actualise and grow into the potential that you ‘know’ they can be. You can only be you, here and now. As you open your heart, truly open your heart, it will have a profound impact on another. It will leave a last imprint on them. It will crack open their heart and mind. Whether they choose to acknowledge that opening is not your responsibility. What is your responsibility is how you choose to live now. Are you putting your entire heart into all that you do, with whom you interact? Are you hoping for something in return or are you merely living from your heart, truly giving and then giving again and again? It is the only way to true healing. It is the only way to lOve. It is the only thing that matters – that you know lOve, here and now, not in time. Now! So stop worrying about getting it right or planning what to do. You know what to do and you know it starts here and now.
So will you stop? So will you be here and now?
