Morning Star Cardinal Water Venus approaches her Greatest Elongation from Sol and demi-semi square the 3rd June Renovatio
Rubbing their hands in glee over their body paint palettes in eager anticipation of the pending battle as ‘Lucifer’ rose majestically to light the dawn, the Meso-Americans relationship with the Morning Star was quite different to what we now understand Venus to embody. And yet, there is always truth in every mythology…
Stretching far above the Light of our Masculine Spirit, the Light Bearer in her youthful, combative, ego fuelled zealousness, filled with righteousness and the fervour of a born-again, southern Baptist Christian, is not hard to spot in shops across the world these days. Unquestioningly reacting from the directives issued by Big Brother her furious, furtive eyes, her brazen confidence and raised voice directed towards those who question the double-speak or who merely don’t appear to conform, is this really the form of the Venus seed you planted back on the 3rd of June.
Moreover, will you react in heart-warrior mode, justifying your actions as merely defending yourself?
Remember that we are all waging an invisible war within ourselves as we struggle with our worth, esteem and maintaining the integrity of our values, especially when they feel contradictory to what we are being encouraged to value. Kindness is the only weapon these days, even when under the interrogation of a ‘Karen’.
Renovatio
In case you need to be reminded of the heart-commitment made in early June, here is a quote from my offering back on that profound heart-seeding day, “So this Renovatio – the peak of Venus’ 41 day quarantine – extends back in time, asking us to remember the commitment to speaking love with everyone that you connect with – directly and indirectly (yes, indirectly on social feeds and chats; as we talk of our self-proclaimed ‘leaders’ – the billionaires, bankers, politicians, communication moguls; when we talk of others to others; and in what we watch, listen to and read). The question of this Renovatio is whether you bring spirit consciously through your voice; whether you live in accordance with what you love and value and whether you return love in the face of ignorance, denial, anger, prejudice or fear.”
How are you doing with that path and commitment this past week?
It is certainly a test of conviction, to lOvingly hold firm that which you truly believe in the face of unresolved pain, hurt and fear. Forgiveness and gentleness within a firm and lovingly defined structure is perhaps what is required as we live through a war being fought at all levels of our personal and collective consciousness.
