Astrology has been my sole source of income, my way of being and the way that I live since discovering it on the 17th Jan 1993. Self-taught, I did sojourn with a correspondence course with the Faculty of Astrological Studies under the tutorship of Christine Tate-Wheeler, completing three of the four year training modules in a little under a year. However, I never sat the exams due to my commitments to seeing clients and running a school of astrology called The Dublin Astrological Centre.I’ve been ever so fortunate to have attracted people who wanted to work with me from the very beginning of my path and I’ve worked with clients intensely on a daily basis since 1994. I have a varied clientele, located all over the world, and have worked privately with individuals and corporately with business, sports clubs, political parties and religious institutions for over two decades. My practise is based in my office in Blackrock, Dublin, Ireland, from where I write, divine, create and see clients in person or via ZOOM.Until the time of my movement onto my current path, I was reading Geography in Trinity College, Dublin and playing football, two additional passions I still have today. I currently reside in Greystones, Ireland with my family. My life-partner and wife, Karen, walks the same path as an astrologer and we have two children, Sarah and Maya. Together we run the Blue Rose, a school of astrology and spirituality and have students all over the world who download our classes, join in via ZOOM or attend in person. My focus is evident in my extensive public writing. I am interested in helping people develop a deeper confidence in their commitment to what they lOve and living what they love. And I would lOve to share my passion with you and to work with you concerning what you love.I look forward to working with you.

The Venus Diary

The 13th January as Mutable Fire Venus octiles Cardinal Earth Pluto Ah, the complex weave that you spin along the path of the Heart. Love battles with lOve; friendship battles between unconditional acceptance and conditional expectation; lovers merge, their bodies becoming one, but yet remain alone and lonely, distracted by their own unloveableness, unable to…

The Gold Diary

The 11th January as the Cardinal Earth Sun conjoins Cardinal Earth Pluto Just as you thought it was seen, further layers are peeled back and you are left wondering – will it ever be truly healed? That elephant… How did it get there? Why has it returned when it was ‘seen’, discussed and rehomed? Yet…

The Venus Diary

The 5th January as Fixed Water Venus trines Mutable Water Chiron Despite being trained to live within a monochrome world – you have a single life purpose (unchanging and ever constant); you will meet the One and live harmoniously and happily; will have a place in the world that best suits you; you will have…

The Venus Diary

The 4th January as Fixed Water Venus octiles Cardinal Earth Saturn Each of us carries a poignant story around our damaged sense of worth, often hidden beneath an impenetrable wall masking a raw and vulnerable heart who is only seeking acceptance and lOve. That story is seldom shared, as pride, self-judgement and shame sit on…

The Gold Diary

3rd January as the Cardinal Earth Sun sextiles Mutable Water Neptune “There is a quiet light that shines in every heart. It draws no attention to itself though it is always secretly there. It is what illuminates our minds to see beauty, our desire to seek possibility and our hearts to love life.” – John…

The Two Books

The New Moon in Cardinal Earth (Sextile Neptune and located between Saturn and Pluto) The climb to this place, akin to Frodo Baggins and Sam Gamgee’s assault of Mount Doom in Mordor, has been monumental. After much labouring, ascending many a treacherous track, having explored too many cul de sacs and having had to ford…

The Gold Diary

2nd January as the Sun and Saturn conjoin in Cardinal Earth More important than the arbitrary calendar rebirth is today’s cazimi conjunction and parallel of the Sun and Saturn in Cardinal Earth, a conjunction that occurs every year when the Sun reaches the same celestial longitude as Saturn, but it has not happened within Cardinal…

The Gold Diary

1st January as the Western calendar year 2019 begins I was never one to celebrate the change of calendar as a child. Plagued by the pang of deep Irish guilt as an adult when surrounded by an ocean of revellers on the 31st December, enthusiastically counting away time, eagerly anticipating a dawn that would miraculously…

The Solstice Diary

The 22nd December as the Sun Ingresses into Capricorn How much we take for granted as we forge ahead, trying to become, desiring to achieve, hoping to find fulfilment, longing to live more consciously, hungering for something more meaningful, when we are surrounded, in this moment, with all that we need. Our time here is…

The Solstice Diary

The Turning of the Seasons on the 21st December as the Sun Ingresses into Cardinal Earth How still the light becomes at this frontier, a welcome relief from the intensity of the experiences that have recently unfolded. Here you stand, between worlds, eagerly anticipating what may emerge, deeply reflective of what has come to pass.…
